Kenny K Ch 26 Love You Mojo 173 & Karen's Doodle Monochromatic - SSSC 99

Kenny K has a challenge of Love You and I have this new digital image of Spaced.  My husband has done lots of astro photography so I thought this would make a cute card.  I followed the Mojo 173 sketch.

Josie To be loved - Stamping Bazaar Ch. 10 & CPS 200 & There She Goes

From the Stamping Bazaar I have this stamp of Josie the cat in a hat which is so cute since she reminds me of one of my cats.  The challenge this week is ribbon and lace in which I found I had this lace from Wrights with a beautiful pink row of flowers going down it that matches perfectly.  I followed the sketch design of CPS 200 for the layout.  I used the colors of pink, red, grey, and black that follow the color challenge of There She Goes.  I used the Making Memories paper that gives the card a vintage look.

Beanie Anya Thinking of You

The Greeting Farm has a sketch challenge this week.  I used the Beanie Anya stamp which I think is so cute in this hat since I think I look horrible in hats.  I used two Offray ribbons so that I could include it in the Pixie Dust challenge which has to have two or more ribbons or bows.

Tissue Box Eira & MFT Birthday Girl

All that Scraps has a challenge to decorate a tissue box using a stamp from their store.  I used the digital stamp of Eira the snowflake and colored her with my Copics.  For the base and top of the Kleenex box I embossed it with the Cuttlebug folder of snowflakes and topped it off with the Martha Stewart icicle border punch.  We really was quite simple to make and we tend to go through quite a few tissues this time of year.

SOG Be Mine & Happy Bird-day

Some Odd Girl has a challenge to have a Valentine card that does not use the red and pink Valentine colors.  I used the Kaylee sign stamp and did a monochromatic blue card.  It was fun because I also was tired of the traditional Valentine colors this past week.
Also can be used for Bugaboo's embossing challenge.
(oops I can't use this in the SOG since it was a challenge for the weekend only and it closed at 6pm)

Pollycraft - white- Let it snow

I purchased this star gazing "bronson and beaker star" because when my husband was well he was out observing and getting great deep sky images.  The other night when I went to take the garbage out to the street I told him it was a calm clear night and that he should be out, and I got the puppy dog look that broke my heart that I knew if he could he would be out there.  That is when I hate cancer.  Hopefully soon he will be able to be out there again, and I know that will help his mood as well.

Good news
My son was a winner on the Kraftin' Kimmie Dude Challenge.  Kimmie actually decided to give all four participants a prize.  His comment was, "See Mom, this isn't so difficult."  I have a little monster.  He loves to give me a sarcastic sense of humor that drives me nuts, but it could be much worse with a 14 year old so I won't say anymore.

Skipping stones has a design challenge with a sketch.  I pulled out some stamps that I purchased and had some fun this week. I love this sentiment, especially after the holidays.  I also wanted to do a card in some different colors since it seems so many have been in the reds, pinks, and white for the love and Valentine themes.
