I have an aunt whose birthday is this weekend that likes chickadees.  We spent some time with her at her cabin and my husband was able to get a beautiful photograph for her of one.  When I gave her copies of the photos in an album for Christmas she asked for one as a vertical that she could frame.

JUGS Flower & Create Colour & Kraftin' Kimmie

JUGS has a challenge to create your own flower.  I took and cut pieces of organdy fabric and made 5 circles.  I then held each circle over a lit candle so that the edges melted and curled under.  I stacked them up and put a brad in the center and this is what I came up with.

For Kraftin' Kimmie the challenge is to reuse or recycle something for your card. I have the tag from my bra that I made into a billboard sign.  All the cardstock was in my scrap pile and was only pieces.  So the piece i used to stamp my image and make my snow and the piece for my sky to the pieces for my billboard legs.  My parents are celebrating their anniversary at the end of the month, and this will be a cute card for them since they love to snowmobile.

Greeting Farm has a Challenge of Hats Off in which the image needs to have a hat.  I chose the image of Harold Bread and Jam.  My mother-in-law is in the hospital since she has lost 16 pounds this past month and hasn't been feeling well so they are trying to evaluate what is going on with her.  I am sending this card to her. That is where the sentiment comes from.  In the inside is our encouragement for her to eat.
I followed the SSSC challenge for this week.
I will also put this card in the Pixie Dust Recipe Challenge since it has the bread and jam.
