No fishing

Here is a precious image from QKR that I finally had a chance to color.  I embossed a row of stars for the top in pink.  The background SEI paper has a metallic shine as well as the texture that looks like fish scales.

Beach bomb

We all have thoughts of summer and relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.  I've had two kids, but I would never be caught wearing a two piece bikini again.  Even with the bottle of bubbly....I still wouldn't do it since more would be hanging and drooping.  I like the SLS stamps since they are realistic on the body shapes. I added some pearls for the necklace, earrings and the bikini.  I also added Glossy Accents to the sunglasses, drink and wine bottle.  Enjoy your summer and weekend.

Thanks a latte

I love the Mojo sketches and was excited that I had a chance to play this week.  I used a Verve stamp set.  I distressed a piece of Kraft paper and added some gorgeous jewels.  I ink distressed the patterned paper and the paper that I embossed.  I recently got a Krups coffee maker and I just love it.  My boyfriend didn't like running errands with me; however, he now likes to go to Target so we can get a Starbucks coffee since I have introduced him to that.  Once in awhile, he will even bring me one in the am before I would go to work. It is a devastating thing that I heard that tomorrow the price of Starbucks is going up since I think they are rather expensive to begin with.

Adopt the pace of nature

I finally made a card because I wanted to!!!  Paulette had the last club, and she had these two vintage seed packets which I thought were just gorgeous so I printed them and distressed the edges.  The sentiment is also from TLC. For that I crumbled it and I rubbed it in three different distress inks and sprayed it with water.  I wish I understood patience - that is something that I most definitely LACK.

Tons of birthday wishes

My niece has a son who is turning two and she is having a party this coming weekend for him so I had to make a card.  He is a little ham and I enjoy taking his picture.  I went to Kohl's this past weekend and picked up some adorable outfits and a toy.  I was talking with my sister-in-law on Saturday and I plan to give him the book "Green Eggs and Ham" which is my favorite children stories.  For my card, I used an image from Mo Manning who has the best kid images and a sentiment from TLC.
