Every Birdie needs a friend like you

Here is a card that I made using a freebie image from Miss Rach and an adorable sentiment from TLC.  I made him to look like a robin which is our state bird. I made this card as a center step card which is very easy to do.  I also used my new stitched edge die cut from Sweet Pea Designs.

Like sunshine on fairy wings

I had colored this image of the baby sleeping fairy a long time ago, but just hadn't put a card together until now.  I know I used multiple colors in the wings, but don't even remember which ones.  I did add glitter jelly pen to the lines in the wings.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I was also able to use my new Spellbinder set of Diamondessence and the purple ribbon from May Art.  I made this into a twisted easel card.

My heart says chocolate

Well I am still working on my cleaning; however, my daughter had to go back to her summer jobs.  My Dad and uncle continue to work on my porch.  It started off hot and humid today, but then this afternoon we had rain off and on.  The temperature cooled off some which helps.

Christ the Savior is Born

I haven't been lost....I've been working on a house project.  My Dad is helping me with my porch which was a screened porch.  I have a wooded lot and the critters have made lots of holes in the screen so I no longer feel safe in letting my cats enjoy the space.  He is now going to convert it into a 3 -season porch with windows and a decent door so I won't have to replace the screen every other year.  Then since my husband died about a year and a half now, I need to clean out the house of some items and re-organize.  I have my daughter with me this week to help and she is wonderful at organizing.  It has been a lot of work as well as emotional.  I needed to stay awake tonight to work on a card to destress.
