Chocolate really helps...

Well my other cousin that I babysat for is having a baby, there just seems to be an epidemic of babies at this time. She knows she is expecting a girl. My cousin is a petite girl, and knows too much because she is a doctor. I made her a funny card from Bugaboo and plan to give her some Godiva chocolates. As I recall, NOTHING, helps the pain. That is just my opinion. I didn't have an epidural, and believe me my children were both big so we don't even need to discuss the details. For my card, I used glossy accents on the glasses which doesn't show up well on the photo. My second card is an image from TLC, Create that Paulette just had in the current club which I just loved for Spring. After snowblowing five inches today, I think it will be awhile before we see it here in WI. My third card is using an adorable image from Torico, Birdie Brown and a sentiment from TLC, Create. For my last card, I used another Bugaboo image which is this weeks freebie and sentiment from TLC, Create.

How Bee Ya?

Yesterday it was 39 degrees and today it is to be around 57 degrees before it drops to 21 on Wednesday. I have been working on some cards through the night, and it has been raining. My first card has this cute bee fairy from Tiddly Ink with a wonderful sentiment from TLC, Create. I love the honey comb paper from Sweet Shoppe. My second card is a birthday card with a Bugaboo image in which I used Glossy accent on the glasses. My third card is a digital image from The Greeting Farm with Cupcake Anya and another sentiment from the Cupcake Set at TLC, Create.

coloring

My husband and I were watching some shows we had taped so I did some coloring while we caught up on our episodes. It is nice to fast forward through commercials. My first card is a birthday card I made using an image from Sassy Cheryl that has a cupcake and a sentiment which is perfect from TLC, Create. My second card is using Torico's Birdie Brown monster image with TLC, Create. My third card has a bunny with a heart and another sentiment from TLC, Create. My final card has an image from Darcy's Diary with a sentiment that can be found at TLC, Create.

Sing soft kitty

My family loves the show "The Big Bang Theory" so when Paulette had this freebie the other day that has a saying from the show I just had to make a card with it. It just happens that my kids were singing "Soft Kitty" the other day so it will be perfect to send to my daughter who is stressing out about being back at college. Then I made a red and black card using a new set from TLC, Create that I received from Paulette which I thought was perfect for this weeks Mojo sketch. For my third card I used the Splitcoast sketch and colors with an image from Torico and a sentiment from TLC, Create.

Babies

Yesterday I went and got my daughter settled back at college. She had to be there early for training since she is going to be a CA for floor at the dorm this semester. It will be a busy semester for her, but she is an organized person so I'm sure she will do just fine. I just miss her already since she went back early, and I feel like she won't be coming home as often. My cousins have had their babies so I made the cards to welcome the new little ones and have some gifts to mail out. I just love Mo's images so that is what I used for these cards since I had to make one boy and one girl.

Great hop

On the web site, Paulette offered a free image so I made a card using that along with another one of her sentiments from a wonderful set that comes from Because of You. Jugs has a technique challenge so that is why I embossed my paper and then I inked the blue paper with London Fog and the Green and Yellow with Tuxedo Black.

For the Birds Blog Hop

It's finally here the TLC, Create Blog Hop and you should have arrived from Carla's blog. If this is your first stop then to start, go to Cynthia's blog so that you don't miss any of the wonderful freebies. The images are all wonderful and are "For the Birds" in honor of National Bird Day. Paulette from TLC, Create has donated all of these wonderful images that we will have along the way so make sure to go back TLC, Create to thank her for them. She has a wonderful web site that has at least one if not several free images or sentiments per day besides lots of reasonable images available for purchase for every occasion. She also has clubs where you receive emails of images and sentiments for a particular theme. For example, the St. Patrick's Day Digi club will be from January 26 - 30 and Paulette will be sending out word art, vintage papers, colored clipart, collages...of St. Patrick's Day. When I receive the emails it is like receiving a present. If you are interested in the St. Patrick's Day Club check it out here, and believe me the price is worth the amount of images and sentiments that you receive!
My husband and I love to do wildlife photography. On our vacations we try to find some time to do some with our favorite spot being the Everglades which has incredible birds to see and photograph. We have a local zoo that is free to the public so that is a place that I like to visit during the summer. This zoo has a black swan, which I used the photograph as inspiration for one of my cards which is native to Australia and New Zealand. I had to do some research in order to get the coloring for my swans in the rest of my cards.
