I've had this stamp for quite some time, and finally decided I better get him inked. When my husband and I were first married he had a pair of boxers like these so I just find this so funny. Unfortunately, he passed away but this is how I see him as a cupid at this time of year anyway, hehe. He had a wonderful sense of humor so he would find that funny. For the background, I used a cloud stencil from "My Favorite Things".

My kids were here for the weekend which was great, but I wanted to spend sometime playing with my Distress Oxide Inks. So I made a couple of cards with the Freshly Made Sketches for this week. I masked the sentiment area with a banner die. Then inked the Oxide Ink on, spritzed it with water and with the blotting of the paper towel it left an interesting pattern on the paper and I liked the texture. I heat setted it, inked the sentiment and stamps. Then I added a gem and sequins. I kept it as a simple Valentine card.

Kindness is like snow...

Today starts a new Challenge at Catch the Bug and it is a photo inspiration. For my card, I used, Winter kidz girl and a sentiment from TLC, Create. I added snow to my image by masking it with Moltow drops then coloring the sky and then rubbing the masking drops off. I put Sakura jelly white pen drops over the image. I colored her clothes in a rainbow of colors and the background paper in a rainbow to go with the photo inspiration picture.

There is no man like a SNOWMAN

This is a one of the newer snowmen from Bugaboo from the Goofy Snowman Set and the sentiment is from TLC, Create. Today I dealt with both my ex husband and ex finance so I will just say that I say that I really like this sentiment, and it sums up my life right now, LOL. I actually went to take some chocolate chip banana bread for my best friend who had surgery on Friday and she was with her grandsons and I got hugs and kisses from a 3 and 6 year old and there was no expectations with it so it was a great, hehe.
I put Stickles on the snow on the ground and Sakura glitter jelly pen on the snowflakes in the sky.

We keep having such unusual weather....one minute it's raining and then the next it's snowing so we just have a MESS! So I think it is best to just stay inside and cuddle since the roads have ice and the temps are going up and down. Bring a song to your heart

Since I mailed out around 100 Christmas cards, I figured I better get started on making my stash for the upcoming year. So I had this image colored from Lili of the Valley - Christmas Robin and the sentiment is from TLC, Create. I used both a Marvy and Liquid Applique for the snow on the branches. The brown paper is embossed. We are actually getting some snow right now.
