You've gotta pizza my heart

Today is going to be the coldest day of the week and we are under a winter weather advisory so....I will be staying inside and snuggling with my cats.  I do have an appointment later so I will have to sneak out it is the wind that is so nasty.  So, I tried to think of warm thoughts so I made this card using a wonderful sentiment from TLC and a pre-colored image from the Paper Shelter.  I made this an easel card.

Sending sunny thoughts

This weekend we had beautiful weather here so it was perfect to be outside.  We were able to go to an Art Fair and see many gorgeous things and then I have thoughts of re-doing my entire house.....if I could only afford to do that, not.  Instead the only item I bought was a toad house.  I have a shaded back yard so I have lots of toads in my grass and when I go out to cut it they are always hopping out of my way.  When I saw this find I thought it was too funny so I had to get me one.
For my card, I used a pre-colored image from the Paper Shelter and then I created my own background.  I embossed the sun background and sponged on some ink.  Then I sprayed on some Krylon paint to look like sand.  Now I could  go for some fruity drink, but it seems like I'm "on-call" for work all the time.  The sentiment is from TLC.

Cake makes everything better

My daughter doesn't handle change well, so moving and graduating is a lot for her to handle.  So I picked up some groceries to send to her - cake mixes and fun frosting included.  So I thought this would be the perfect card for her.  The sentiment is from TLC.  The image is a pre-colored one from the Paper Shelter.  I made this an easel card, since that is her favorite layout.
