Christmas Chickadees

I like to get several Christmas cards done each month so that I don't have to scramble at the end of the year. I found in my stash that I had printed a free picture quite some time ago of these beautiful Chickadees and had this evergreen scrap of paper I don't know the maker of either of them. I embossed a woodgrain background and die cut a pine cone with glitter and liquid pearl. I didn't add a sentiment since I was trying to keep it simple and peaceful.

Let's party our tails off!

I got this stamp from Newton's Nook from the New Release called Zoo Party.  And then I created my own background with the Tropical Leaves Stencil and three distress oxide inks. I added some fir branches on the corners to make this fun card.

Ornament Branch

I am trying to do several Christmas cards each month, to keep up with my stash so I won't be in a frenzy at the holiday season.  Here is a CAS card since I was trying to get outside my comfort zone.  Also for the JUGS Challenge to have "Hand Drawn Elements".  I took pictures of making of the card, but unfortunately the lighting was not good.  I used a circle punch in a piece of cardstock and then scribbled red marker on that.  I drew the black ornament top and used a scrap white piece of paper for the ornament string.  And then I added the fir branch with some bling as the final touch.
