Penguin Gift

I made this card a while back, but just haven't had a  chance to post it. I am trying to meet my quota of several Christmas cards a month.  This is using a Bugaboo image called, Poppi Penguin Christmas Present. I did this in non-traditional Christmas colors, and I dry embossed the backgrounds.

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and since it's the first Saturday of the month it's Anything Goes. For my card, I used Santa Clause and colored him in non-traditional colors. The sentiment is a die cut from Sizzix. I wanted to keep up with doing a couple holiday cards each month so I started with one right away the beginning of the month.  Next month, we will have our Christmas in July Celebration at Catch the Bug and have some fun themes for that.

Today at Catch the Bug is Friday Freebie and you can't miss this one. The image is C Cathy Xmas Right Idea and she is crabby this Friday.  I did a pastel, non-traditional Christmas card.  I love this color combo which was a suggestion of the Christmas Throwdown a few weeks ago of pink, blue and green.  Hope that you have a better Friday and that you go to this week to get this wonderful image.

I just love this sentiment from TLC, Create, and I thought that it worked perfectly with an image from Beccy's Place.  I think it is hilarious that goose with an attitude wearing bells.  I just added some real ones.  The paper is also from TLC, Create.  This was just a fun card and I like make non-Traditional colors.

Today starts a new challenge at Imagine That Digistamp Creative Playground.  It is an Anything Goes Challenge, and if you use an image from Imagine That Digistamp then you will get the image of the month which this month is Manatee Painter.  See the site and what my fellow teammates did with that image.  I used the Christmas Bird Trio and colored it with Prisma pencils and Gamisol.  I added some pearls.  I went with non-traditional Christmas colors for this card.

Sending a Llama love your way this Christmas!

For this card I used the Llama Love from Imagine That Digistamp and colored it in non-traditional Christmas colors.  For the background, I embossed it and then sprayed it with several shades of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist so the paper has a shiny shimmer.  I made this a center step card.
