Patriotic Eagle and Flag Vintage

I have a bunch of vintage images from TLC,Create and I just don't get a chance to play with them as much as I would like. Since it's Memorial Day Weekend I was inspired to use this wonderful eagle. I was able to pull out some buttons, ribbons, twine, hemp and do some distressing.

Humbled by your willingness to serve

I made a tag using a sentiment from Verve that I sent to my son who is in the Army Reserves.  I had a massage today and my therapist is a vet so I was able to tell him thanks for his service.  He said that he feels funny going to get a free meal, and I reminded him of all the poor meals he had while he was abroad and that he really is entitled to get it.

Happy 4th of July

Today starts a new challenge at Imagine That Digistamp with the theme being Fancy Folds or Shaped Cards.  So for my card, I made a patriotic card using the American Pride Kit.  It's perfect for the 4th of July holiday.  I made a side step card.  I also used the papers from this kit.
