Today at Catch the Bug is Friday Freebie and it's Pink Ribbon Gals Stella. This one means a lot to me since my Mom is a Survivor of Breast Cancer for 10 years now. I also have two Aunts that have also been diagnosed so I have another two more cards to make. For the oval background I dry embossed hearts and rubbed sandpaper over them.

My fake plants died...

Today starts a new Stella Says Sketch at Catch the Bug.  For my card I used the image, Grumpy Gertrude fake plants.  I thought I put Glossy Accents on her glasses, but by mistake it was Crackle Accents...oops. I embossed the die cut behind the image and rubbed it with sandpaper.

I wanted to make a fun birthday card, and had this great sentiment from TLC, Create.  I pulled out an old embossing folder from Cuttlebug and came up with this card.

Irish vintage collage

I am far from Irish, but feel that I have to make a few Irish cards for my friends.  I made this card using a vintage image from the monthly club at TLC.  I think she is too adorable.  I embossed some Core-dination paper and then rubbed it with sandpaper and distressed the edges.
