I always love sketches.  For my card, I used Penguins Trio Block and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I added some Stickles for the snow, punched snowflakes with pearls on them and outlined the snowflakes in the image with a glitter pen.

Santa has the right idea...visit people once a year!

Today at Catch the Bug is Friday Freebie and you can't miss this one. The image is C Cathy Xmas Right Idea and she is crabby this Friday.  I did a pastel, non-traditional Christmas card.  I love this color combo which was a suggestion of the Christmas Throwdown a few weeks ago of pink, blue and green.  Hope that you have a better Friday and that you go to this week to get this wonderful image.

Also remember that starting on Saturday December 1st is the Holiday Chaos at Catch the Bug and we will have a week long of challenges.  I will have a post and project everyday!!!  My teamies have some wonderful creations and you can win some daily prizes so join in to make one, two or seven items.

Can this be happening to me?

I  know that I said a while back that I was having problems with my sinuses which I have had an infection since June.  I saw Allergy and they gave me a strong antibiotic for 10 days...and I still continue to have disgusting stuff that comes out.  I photograph it just so I can show them.  To make it worse...there are times because of the drainage with the congestion I feel like I can't breathe.  Obviously I am a nurse and I know that I am breathing; however, I feel like my airway is restricted and I have been having panic attacks.  I have never had them before so this is freaking me out.  Then to make a long story short....they are carrying over to other parts of my life because the more that I try to control them the worse they get.  There are times that my socks, bra or other clothing bother me and I have to get out of them or change them because I feel claustrophobic or lumps/bumps are problems.  Then I get mad at myself.  I stopped wearing necklaces that feel restrictive on my neck.  I have talked to my doctor and she offered to prescribe me something to relax me, but I am too stubborn to give in.  I now have an appointment to see ENT in mid December.  I saw my homeopathic healer who has made a remedy for me in the past and it's been over a year since I took any and he asked if I was ever in a restrictive environment....well that was my entire first marriage.  Then we have come to realize that I might be suffering from symptoms of being the same feelings I had when my exhusband physically restrained me or used to pin me down.  WOW! Didn't think that my sinus infection would bring up that snot!!! lol So my heart goes out to everyone who suffers with anxiety and panic attacks.  I am hoping that I can get this sinus stuff handled and that this will all stop, but I have a different understanding.

Now.....for my card today....I used a wonderful image from Mo Manning that looks similar to my daughter's dog and this is who the card is for....Gus.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.

Hope this birthday tops the charts

Welcome to my new follower Lia.
I get so busy with work, and then have to do my cards for the design teams and  I have been known to forget to my own family and friends birthdays.  Worse, I actually make the cards, but forget to mail out the cards on time even though I have a listing of the dates on a bulletin board next to my computer.  So I am trying to get some of my male birthday cards done.   This one has a retired image from Bugaboo that I am hoping will be added again to the store called PU Present and a sentiment from TLC, Create.

Cow pile

I hope that all of my US friends survived the Thanksgiving celebrations and family from yesterday and are now geared up for the Black Friday shopping.  I actually have to work today.  I traveled 110 miles to my brother's home and drove back so I can go to work and then on Saturday I will drive back to celebrate the day with my Mom's family (she is one of 13 children) so we rent a hall for a Thanksgiving/Christmas party and because she has so many people staying with her I will drive home again.
Today at Catch the Bug is Friday Freebie and the image is Cow pile.  Being in Wisconsin, the dairy state, this is a wonderful image  I found some great patterned paper to go with this and added some flowers and bling.
Grab this image during the next week while it's free.
