Inchin' by

At the scrapbook store that I work at, this past weekend they had a garage sale.  There is a $15 handling fee, but then you can bring in 60 items that the store sells for you, and then you get store credit.  I offered to work since it wasn't my weekend, but believe it enough staff were willing to work so that I wasn't needed.  I took in 44 items which took up one huge rubbermaid bin.  My husband thought I should take advantage of all 60 alloted items since he feels I have more than enough inventory.  My daughter went to the University to take placement tests for college in the AM so when I picked her up at noon, I convinced her that we should stop and check out the garage sale.  She found 24 sharpie markers for $3 and was so happy.  She doesn't get into crafts, but does love markers.  I know that she color-coordinates her notes that she takes in classes and her math teacher uses her notes if a student is sick or misses a class.  I was able to show my daughter some samples of poster boards and invitations for her graduation that I would like to make for her so it was a worth while trip.  I will have to wait to find out how I did on my items.  I priced things to sell since I really wanted to get rid of them.  I use my Cuttlebug for my die-cuts so I put up my Revolution with the 12 inch plate.  I had circle cutter that I never used. I had some Coluzzle sets that I no longer use and clear alphabet sets.
We then went to Costco to buy fruit.  They have wonderful produce.  My daughter loves the strawberries and dips them in plain yogurt for breakfast.  Mmmm.
