I have said how I have joked about my mother going to a lot of funerals and needing sympathy cards, but the subject came up again. She was talking about another family friend that had passed, and I asked her, "How fast did you go through those sympathy cards I gave you for your birthday?" Her birthday was in May. She said those only lasted a month or two. I said, well I guess I will have to be making you some more for Christmas.
