Now, this morning it was interesting, I had this set of stamps to work with and I looked at the new Mojo sketch and then it came to me...and I went to work. The paper is from Sweet Shoppe except for the flower which is from Pebbles. I used the sentiment from Paulette's set Simply Put Thoughts which has four great sentiments. When I looked at this one, I decided that with the paper I chose it would be perfect to actually dig into my wallet and find a shiny penny to place in the center of my flower. My husband laughed when he saw my card, and said his thoughts were worth more (I won't tell you my response.)

Beautiful cards! I love the penny in the middle of the flower in your first card and the colors in your second card are stunning.
ReplyDeleteLisa Lynn, you made two lovely cards! I, of course, really appreciate the center of your flower on the first one! And I know what I would have said to my hubby if he said what yours did! LOL! Love the colors and beautiful ribbon on the second! Great use of Paulette's images! :^)

you know I never thought to use a penny as the center of a flower... clever! I get that would work in the center of fabric yoyos too... for the right project that is! Thank you for the great inspirations!
