Back to school

My daughter is starting her senior year at college...I can't believe it.  I can't believe that I still send her a card a week too.  She loves it and it helps her get through the year.  Sometimes I add a little treat like a gift card to Starbucks or Target.  This summer went by so fast I just can't believe it.  Usually she has spent the summer at home; however, she stayed at school so it was a real empty nest for me.

  3. Oh Lisa I do love your card, it's so bright and cheery. Just adore your selection of flower embellishments totally perfect for this card. Hope all is well with you? It's Liam's 15th Birthday today and he's away for school and won't be back until the 18th of September. I spoke to him last night as he won't be near a phone today as he's off Mountain Biking. So I know what you mean about missing them. This is a great card and thanks so much for joining us this week over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.

  11. You are a fab MOM Lisa and I am sure you daughter often love your handmade cards; this is extremely bright, cheery and wonderful. I feel for you being empty nester; my eldest is at boarding school since last year until she's 17 and even though I have three more at home but there are times I miss her so much. Yet phone calls and texting keep us in touch and she comes home once a month so it's not that bad I think. Thank you for playing along with us at DigiStamps4Joy and we hope to see you again.
