Thankful for you

I finally had a chance to do some coloring today. I colored this image from Bugaboo in a Red, White and Blue format.  I had to color the cat as a Siamese since I have three that run my household.  My two younger cats just got their summer haircuts.  They are eight years old and I don't know if since my husband died last year that the stress has made them groom less, or their fur mat more or with their age their coats are just doing that on its own, but they needed to be shaved.  My older cat which will be eleven later this month is half Siamese and half Himalayan so he has a thick fur, and he is a Blue Point.

    Love the hair cuts--we used to raise Persians, so we shaved down those we weren't taking to cat shows! Easier to keep up that way! :^)

    Such a sweet card, Lisa, but I can hardly take my eyes off your beautiful cats! Cats do stress so easily, when my older Tigger died two years ago, his best bud, Bugsy went into a deep depression and started pulling his hair out. This docile cat came very aggressive, his personality changed completely. Back to the card, love the dot background and the way you colored your image! Thanks for playing with us at the colourQ.     Your little furballs are just gorgeous and so is your card. Beautifully coloured...love how you've coloured the cat as a Siamese too! I've just noticed that one of them is called Snookie...that was the name of my first cat too - I've never come across it before. Thanks for playing along at Colour Q!
