Cake makes everything better

My daughter doesn't handle change well, so moving and graduating is a lot for her to handle.  So I picked up some groceries to send to her - cake mixes and fun frosting included.  So I thought this would be the perfect card for her.  The sentiment is from TLC.  The image is a pre-colored one from the Paper Shelter.  I made this an easel card, since that is her favorite layout.

Patterned Paper:  Sweet Shoppe - Strawberry Jam
Cardstock:  Bazzil; Recollections
Stamp:  Paper Shelter - Berry Delight
Sentiment:  TLC, Create - Cake makes everything better
Spellbinders:  Large Circle; Small scalloped petite oval
Ink:  Memento - Angel pink
Ribbon:  Really reasonable ribbon
Doilies:  Paper Studio
Gems:  Mark Richards
Border Punch:  Fiskars
Button:  Stash
Jute:  May Arts

  11. Hello there, Lisa Lynn! I'm so happy to be back in blogland! Thank you for your kind words on my blog! Yes, my kitties survived the ordeal but they meowed continuously on the drive there and on the drive back. It was heartbreaking to hear (they always do this in the car). I'm glad it's over and I hope there are no more car drives for a while. As for the place where we stayed, it was a vacant house. They loved it, especially the basement, since Honeydew caught a mouse. I'm sure it was the highlight of our stay! Not for me though hehe.

Your card is adorable! Such a sweet idea to send to your daughter with the goodies. Moving is never fun and takes a lot of adjustment. Hope it all goes well for her!
