I've had this card done for quite sometime, but didn't want to post it since I made it for a friend and I wanted to wait until I sent it to her since she has a "thing" for pandas.  She has been having a rough time lately and recently lost her Grandfather and gone through other changes so I thought it was a good time to mail it out.

Birthday fishes

Today at Catch the Bug it's Anything but a Card.  So I made a treat bag which is from a die cut from Sizzix.  I used the image, Make it Snappy - Birthday Fishes.  I have my two nephews who have birthdays coming up soon so I plan to put some sugary treats in these to give to them.  Payback to my younger brother for giving me a hard time growing up, hehe.
Today is the Five year Anniversary of the passing of my husband so I wanted to display this also because he was known for his puns. He would have thought that this was a fun sentiment. Both of my kids called me this weekend and were thinking of him and his last hours with us. He was such a geek so he would have had my Internet taking care of quickly and not over 3 days so it was a terrible reminder of how much I miss him.  That's why it is important to appreciate the people who are in our lives, because life is all too short.

You are fairy fabulous

Today there is a New Release at Catch the Bug and it's Fairy Girl which she is sitting on flower fence element and the sentiment is from TLC, Create. It's just that I think of fairies as being rather small and hard to find.  I used my Spica Copics to color on her.  I think that I am going to need this fairy to bring some beautiful green weather since we got 6 inches on Sunday and on Wednesday we are scheduled for 4 more inches.  I'm just mad at my newspaper delivery person who was too lazy to put my paper in my box instead threw it in my driveway and I didn't know it until I was snowblowing and the entire thick Sunday paper was flying across my yard.  I was NOT happy.  With this season, I can't afford to wreck my trusty machine over a couple dollar paper.  So if you have pieces of a Target ad flying by your house it probably came from my snowblower, lol.

So sorry this is a day late on posting, something happened on my auto post.  This was meant to go for the Humor Me at Catch the Bug and it did post on their site. This card is using the image Frame It - Stella Valentines Day.  And how appropriate with Stella to have some falling black hearts.
Seriously hope that you get all the love that you deserve and if you crave sweets then some goodies or flowers or whatever makes you content. My naughty cats got their Valentines gift early because they found the catnip mice and were carrying them around on the cardboard ....which was pathetic so I gave them early.

I wanted to make a variation of the Valentines card using a Spellbinder Swirl Heart in metallic gold and heat embossed sentiment of Always & Forever and this is what I came up with.
