Sympathy on the Loss of your Father Mojo

I have a friend who had to have hospice get involved because his Dad took a sudden decline. His Dad was an Army Chaplin. Over the past few years he has gone through Multiple Myeloma treatment and now most recently Lung Cancer.  So since I have a background in Oncology and hospice, he had lots of questions for me.  So I thought that I would get a card prepped since from the sound of things...it won't be long.
The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I used a couple dies, dry embossed the background and some Tim Holtz stars.

Patterned Paper:  Authentique
Cardstock:  Bazzil; Recollection
Sentiment:  TLC, Create - Loss of your Father
Die Cut:  My Favorite Things
Embossing Folder:  Cuttlebug
Stars:  Tim Holtz

  1. Sympathy cards are by far the hardest to make. This is so beautiful and I love that you personalized it with stars since he is an Army Chaplin. Hopefully you won't need to send it for a long time. Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

  6. Lisa Lynn: What a sweet and thoughtful friend you are to be preparing a card already...anticipating that need of sympathy! I love how you went with a patriotic theme for this Army chaplain. I'm sure that detail will be noticed by your friend. Thanks for linking this card to PPCC's #438! Becca/DT
