Let there be Peace

Today at Catch the Bug there is a new Stella Sketch. For my card, I used Deacon Candy Cane and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I colored the candy cane in primary rainbow colors, I dry embossed the purple and white backgrounds, I added Spectrum Noir to the bell on the hat and some bling to the border snowflakes.
I've been busy the past few days...that today I think I will be in hibernation. Thursday I took the day off to spend with my daughter's class who came to visit the Capital and several local museums.  They traveled the 100 miles and I just met them downtown. I enjoy being an extra chaperon.  Then on Friday (I took off from work) to attend a Stamping Conference. I was able to take classes and then there were make and takes so I was there from 1-10pm.  Saturday I had to take my cats to the vet for their annual visit so they can continue to get their medication at 9:30am, went to the bank, took my car for an oil change (found out that they place now only accepts cash), went back to the bank, got gas, rushed to the Stamping Conference for my classes from 1-5pm, ran to the mall to get a gift card for my boss for her bday/boss's day from me and co-workers, ran back to Stamping Conference for 6-10 pm for Make 'n Takes and finally went grocery shopping and was home around 11:15pm. So you can see as I am working on my post Snookie is to my right and Jazzy to my left.  I have two desks in my office and they each have their own cat beds to be by me and sleep while they wait for me to finish posting.

  10. How cool are the rainbow colors! I am not sure I would have thought of that color scheme, but it is really cool! How sweet the cats are patient and stay in their carriers, so many posts have the cats laying all over their workspace : ) And, your schedule sounds like ti was a bit nuts! I hope you had time to relax and recouperate!!!

  14. I first want to apologize for taking so long to comment. I have been on holidays and I love looking at everyone's entries so I told the design team that I would respond to my quota of entries once I returned. I love bugaboo designs. Your colouring with the bright colours was very well thought out. Thank you for joining us at Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Card Weekly Challenge - Myrna DT
