Living the Dream

Now I think that we all need to protect ourselves from the Covid-19 virus. The patients that I have seen in the hospital have been VERY sick.  We are all trying to learn something new to stay home which is something that our generation has not had to do before. So not to overwhelm the healthcare system I understand; however, this hoarding of toilet paper and food items I do not understand, and is not logical to me. So that is what my card is making fun of. Did people not wipe of use toilet paper before? My septic system only likes certain brands so this is a disaster for me when I can't find it. I just can't imagine what the history books are going to say on this one, OMG.
For my card, the stamps are older from Stamps by Judith & Heather. The sentiments I made on the computer.

  3. I know there's nothing funny about the virus Lisa but I think we all need to keep our sense of humour to deal with the situation that most of us are in (-by most of us I mean the lucky ones who are not ill!)...so thank you for making me laugh- being miserable doesn't help anyone right now :)

  18. OH! This is just fabulous, what a wonderful card with humour, and meaning too. Yep! What did they do before toilet roll? It was newspaper when I was growing up and we loved Christmas, as the tissue paper, which wrapped the apples and oranges my Mum bought, was soooooo soft to use LOL.
    Well done on your message.
    Keep safe and well
