Here is a second card that I made with the another Lavinia stamp set the Mushroom Lantern Set and the Fairy Bugs. I was just having too much fun with my Distress Oxides and had to make another background.

Poppy Group It's Your Birthday

I have a bunch of Lavinia stamps and I just love the silhouette images. I needed a couple of birthday cards so I just grabbed my Distress Oxide inks, painters tape and blending brushes and picked three colors. Then I stamped my flowers and added a cute butterfly from the Fairy Bugs set. I heat embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts.

Let it snow

Welcome to my new follower Cheryl.
The temperatures around here have been so weird. On New Years we got 2 inches of snow (it looked like more, but it wasn't that much).  The on Monday January 7th it was 50 degrees and raining so the snow is gone, Tuesday it was 36 and Wednesday it was 20 windy so it felt like 10 and now we will start to warm up again and be around 40 for weekend.  This is crazy! Then it's no wonder that on Monday that I am having sinus surgery because our bodies can't adjust this fast, lol.
For my card, I used an image from QKR called Bundled Up and the sentiment is from a stamp set from Hero Arts. I added some snow with Stickles and a Spellbinder mitten.

Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card for my Aunt that had her guy friend pass away on Sunday.  She has had two husbands also pass away so she has been through a lot.  I find it hard to make sympathy cards since a man passes away, but you are giving it to a female so not sure which way to go male or female.  So I made it male colors with a more feminine design.

I have several birthdays that I need cards in a short period in November.  I have LOTS of stamps both digital and clear/rubber.  I have been doing cleaning and my Dad did a wonderful job putting up shelves in my basement so I realized how many stamps I have.  So I pulled out stamps that I forgot I had and actually stamped and really used ink along with the sentiment being digital from TLC.  This is really CAS for me.

My Dad has been helping me to do remodeling on my house which is wonderful.  Except....for I do have a mess in my craft area which my Dad has felt the need to clean and try to help organize.  That would be wonderful if my Father was a crafter; however, he is NOT.  So, I have no idea where my heat gun and neither does he. So for the Labor Day weekend when there was a discount coupon, I bought a new one. Still love my Dad :)  So with new embossing gun in hand, I made this CAS Christmas card.
