I made the background of the image with distress oxides and blended them. I added some bling, Sakura jelly glitter and white pens.

Retirement...what the #%*! is that?

Today at Catch the Bug is Thursday Oldie but Goodie.  For my card, I used Stella peeker Retirement.  I have a co-worker that is retiring at the end of this month and she is an excellent social worker. Our company has actually hired someone to replace her and has started her training which is great because we have such a need for their services. I made this card for all my co-workers for sign for her.

I think because he has focused all his money in his business he is so excited to have the ability to purchase something for himself so that is so exciting for him.

Birthday candles

Today is day 6 of the 9th Annual Birthday Bash at Catch the Bug and today is an Oldie but Goodie as well as a Color Challenge.  For my image, I used Monster Birthday Snapshot and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I remember when my children were young picking the theme of the party, the cake design and the candles too.  Many times I even made their cakes, and it would take me hours to pipe out that buttercream frosting in all those colors! Wow it seems so long ago since my kids are in their 20s.
