Poinsettia with embossing

The past few years it has been my goal to make at least 2 Christmas cards each month and I have done well.....until this year. I'm quite behind in my holiday cards. I have tried to do some cleaning in my craft area and I found this wonderful freebie from Beccy's Place that I colored long ago and had sitting in a pile waiting to be put together. So I played instead of cleaned....again. I dry embossed the background and heat embossed the Tim Holtz sentiment.

Swirling Grace Merry Christmas

This is a card that I made for the Thursday Imagine That Inspiration Post using the new Poinsettia set and the Deck the Halls paper.  I also used one of the Spellbinders that I recently purchased Amazing Paper Grace Swirling Grace which I think looks very elegant with this Christmas card.  I then added some flowers.

Poinsettia Merry Christmas

I am so sorry that I forgot to post this yesterday for the Thursday Imagine That Digistamp Inspiration.  I was out of town attending my MIL's funeral which really through me off.  My card is using one of the new images called Poinsettia along with the digital papers, Deck the Halls.  I love poinsettia plants, but have to hide them from my cats.
