Have a PAWFECT Birthday

Well my son has a German Shorthair that just turned one. So I had to make a birthday card for my Grandpup. My son just loves his dog so both my kids who grew up with cats have converted to dogs. Which works out for them. I used a stamp from Newton's Nook Furr-ever Friends.

Pet Sympathy Cards

We are struggling with the lockdown and challenge of not knowing what to expect and stress of change. However, it also affects our critters. I am amazed at home many pet sympathies I had to make. To I made a group of 4 similar CAS designs since I need so many. I have had two lose cats and 2 lose dogs.  One that lost a dog also had their cat get seriously injured.  So then that's just another stress losing a pet during this difficult time. I lost a cat a few months ago and I know my other cat is still struggling with the lose of her sister. So we can just love our critters and I know that they are trying to help us cope.

Make it Rain

This last week it was my son's 24th birthday. He is a child that used to craft with me when he was younger. Now he expects a new style/design each year for his birthday, no pre-colored images and that I would give him a hand made card naturally. Well he has been in the military, moved out of State and I just make this happen because that is what us Moms do!!!  So this year he got a pup so I made him a card using the image from Your Next Stamp, Make it Rain.  I had some gifts for him, but obviously he enjoys the cash. I had the image pop out of the card, and added some washi tape with stripes. To make it wiggle/move I used a wobble device.

I woof you

Well, yesterday I had the card for my daughter and now I have the card that I made for my daughter to give to her boyfriend. So naturally it has another dog to look like Gus, their dog. It is agreed that he is spoiled and the love of their lives. I used a stamp and sentiment from Hero Arts, Merry Woof. I have a Grandpup, Gus and he is a Teddybear breed and is very playful.  My daughter has him sooooo spoiled. He usually goes with her to school on Fridays and he is a big part of her 4th grade class. This is a card that I made for my daughter using a stamp from My Favorite Things, Pups and Kisses. I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

I have something more positive than all the recent sympathy cards and deaths that have been happening lately. My cousin just got a new puppy and I wanted to celebrate that with her by making her a card. I used another My Favorite Things stamp set called BB New Best Friend. Her pup is called "Busy" and officially "Busy Bee" so that's why the papers are from a digital paper set called Honey Bee.

Happy Anniversary...I'm only in this for....

My son and his girlfriend celebrated their 1 year anniversary so he wanted me to make a card for him. Now I think I mentioned that he is particular....and the image has to be hand colored. He likes a unique layout.  What I came up with for him is using the Your Next Stamp Sets of  Rose for You (retired) and  Cute Butt. I made a fence scene and heat embossed the sentiments which he thought was great.  So he approved.
