Birthday Fish Gift Bag

Today at Catch the Bug it's Anything but a card, and for my sample I used an image from the Under the Sea Birthday Set and put it on a gift bag that I picked up. My nephew's birthday is coming up and he loves the color purple so I thought this would be so fun to put some treat in it for him.  I missed not seeing him for Easter.  I talked to my sister - in- law tonight and he apparently is telling my parents that his new teacher Mrs. Jackie is horrible. This home schooling is difficult for family life, and I just have to laugh and am glad that my own children are in their 20's. I know that I would not have patience for it. So I say my prayers for all the extra stress on those in quarantine dealing with homeschooling and stress of spending too much time together.

Mojo Fish Card

I made this masculine Fish card using a stamp that I got from Unity Stamps called Best Fishes.  It has wonderful sentiments for Father's Day, but my Dad is not a fisherman.  I have several Uncles that are so they will get the card; however, I knew that I will put the sentiments to use at some point.  I added an anchor and a couple of bling to finish off the card.

I've had this image colored for a long time and in my stash, and finally put this card together.  The image is from 2 Cute Ink and the sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I dry embossed a piece of velum.  For the star I distressed inked a piece of kraft paper so to get some variations in the colors.
