Freya Fairy with Hare

I am still working with the Lavinia stamps and trying to figure out how to get the effects that I want. I made a background of distress oxide inks. Then I stamped the images this time instead of embossing them. I am not as happy with the results. I added Spectrum Noir to the wings and stars to give a glimmer and sparkle.

Happy Anniversary to the perfect duet

Today is my parent's 52nd Wedding Anniversary. They will be coming back from a vacation in Mexico for a week. I made this card for them from Art Impressions using Perfect Duet Set.  I added some Distress Oxide Ink to the edges of the one layer card and then to the inside edges.  As well as some glossy accents on the curing iron and glasses and bling for the earring and robe button. Now my Dad is not bald and is proud that he doesn't have much gray hair so I had to add hair to the image.

Booyah!

I actually made a one layer card!!! Wow it is hard for me to make a CAS card yet a one layer so I really had to push myself for this one, hehe.  Catch the Bug has a recipe challenge so I forced myself (1 layer, 1 word sentiment, 1 embellishment) so this is what I came up.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  For the background I cut some slits in the black paper and distressed them to look like openings and distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool.  For the embellishment, I put googly eyes on the bat.
