HAPPY

Well it's surprising, but this year, I just haven't had the desire to color images. I feel like my Copics sit in the corner while I work from home and give me dirty looks. And to be honest, since I started working from home and moved most of my crafting supplies out of my office....I haven't colored once. I have found a TON of die cuts that I also have not used and felt guilty so I have been trying to use them. I don't feel depressed, I have just found too many things to do in my house now that I am forced to be home that ignored for so long. I am scheduled for a Copic class in January and hope I find some desire with that.

For this card, I used die cuts from My Favorite Things. I have the sentiment as "Happy" and then thought I could use it for birthday, anniversary or just because.

Oh say can you see...?

So sorry I am so far behind this week.  I share a job with a co-worker and she is off this week so I have to do the work by myself so I am overwhelmed.  I have been working long hours to keep up, then add that I am switching off this antibiotic sinus rinse to now a 21 day oral antibiotic regimen....and I am already exhausted. So if I don't get to your blog to visit this week please forgive me since I am having to make it to birthday, graduation and Father's Day parties. Some days just don't have enough hours in them, lol. Or my geenie, elf, fairy, or whoever is willing to help I don't discriminate has not arrived yet.
For this card, I used an Oldie Stella Calendar July USA.  On the right side I added a strip of red washi tape.

Here is my card for the Thursday Inspiration at Imagine That Digistamp using the image Pierrette and the paper from the set Pandas.  I added a gem on the cheek, three in the corner and a rose so to keep it rather simple.  I used the pre-colored version of the image.

I can't believe that we are in July already this year seems to be going fast on some days and yet dragging on others.  One of  my favorite flowers is the rose.  Here is a card that I made using a stamp that I recently purchased from Unity called Prefer to smile.  For this I used Derwent Watercolour Pencils to color the image.
