Here is a card made with an image that is from the new April club at TLC, I'm not sure if it will be available in the store. If it becomes available, then I will post the link. The sentiment is from a new set that has 3 sentiments and 2 images and is
Calling You. I tried to explain to my kids that when I was a teen-ager that my parents finally got a cordless phone otherwise the conversations were in the kitchen in front of everybody unlike when they have their cellphones and have private conversations and I have no clue what they are texting or talking about. I would love to see the children of today to have to deal with the technology of even 30 years ago. LOL

This is super cute! That image makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteI remember being so impressed with my friend's mother's phone. She had the cord that was about 30 ft long so she could do everything in her house and still talk on the phone! LOL
Thanks for joining us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!
OMGosh, this is so cute, Lisa Lynn! I love that image! Really fun take on the sketch, too! And you are so right about the kids these days. How would they deal without instantaneous gratification? ;^) Different world, I guess! :^)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Penny
P.S. BTW, I know what you mean about hair stylists knowing all your secrets. I went to one for over 20 years, until it was just too far to drive after we moved. And she knew everything about us! Especially since my daughter went to her, too! :^)
Yeah, I do NOT miss trying to stretch that phone cord as far as it would go....let alone being told I had to get off the phone because someone else was waiting for a call! lol! That is such a cute & fun image :) Thanks so much for playing along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches :)
