HMD to my Aunt

My Mother comes from a rather large family - 13 children where there are 10 girls and 3 boys so I have lots of aunts and LOTS of cousins.  The family is very close.  As my daughter will say - there are no secrets.  The majority of my Aunts live locally; however, there are several spread out across the US.  They still get together twice a year for Christmas and a summer picnic.  As it works, when my Mother goes on vacation, I feel that I should not call her which I usually talk to her at least once a week.  As a general rule something always comes up that I feel I need advice or someone to listen to me vent so.....I need my "substitute Mothers" which is one of my precious Aunts.  It is now a joke that I call them my substitutes and I always call them when my Mom is on vacation anyway.  When my Mom went through breast cancer treatment a few years ago I was scared what would I do if she wasn't there the one nice thing is that I do have wonderful women in my life for support.  That is why I do send them cards on Mother's Day also just to let them know how much I love and appreciate them.  Paulette at TLC has a perfect set just for this.  For my card I used a free digital download for the beautiful tag, but then I found I didn't have a pink flower to match.  I took a bloom from Close to My Heart and sprayed it with Tattered Angel chalk spray that also gives it a wonderful shiny look.
