Top Pop

So I wanted to make something that wasn't a Valentine or Christmas card so I used this freebie that is available at Beccy's Place.   These boots are great since they remind me of my Dad who always wore boots like these to work and also my son has Army boots like these.  I used a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I used the sketch, except I wanted to distress all my edges because my Dad's boots were always worn and rough/dirty and the scalloped edge just wasn't going to work.

Patterned Paper:  Sweet Shoppe - My Dad Rocks
Cardstock: Bazzil
Stamp: Beccy's Place - Old Boots
Sentiments:  Top Pop
Ribbon:  Really Reasonable Ribbon
Buttons:  My Favorite Things; Stash
Distress Tool Tim Holtz
Hemptique

  2. Great job on coloring the boots to look loved and worn, and the distressed edges work with the rest of this design.

  14. The first thing I noticed about your card was the sentiment Lisa Lynn, it's fabulous! I love the embossed letters and the way you've distressed the edges, I also like the fact that it makes your project personalised. You've done an awesome job interpreting the sketch, I really like the addition of the buttons and the pieces of bias tape. Great job!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
