Since I completely identify with your aversion to Clean & Simple, I had such a good giggle at your post! It just feels naked if you aren't adding lots of embellishments, right! Anyway, I love what you've gone with! Adorable scarecrow, wonderful layout and of course you had to emboss the background! Beautiful job! Thanks so much for sharing your card with us at Penny's!

Your rebellious act of embossing the white panel was a clever move. It might have looked great without the embossing but I really like how it looks like this. Cute and clean, a great job!!
ReplyDeleteloving that scarecrow.. fabulous cas card..
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us a Polkadoodles Craft Challenge..
hugs
Great take on the sketch Lisa, cute scarecrow and the embossed background looks lovely. So hard to control the urge to add stuff to a CAS card, you've done really well here! Hope you've recovered from that walk :)

Very lovely card, Lisa Lynn.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you made me laugh. One, for expressing the flat white freaked you out - that's how I feel sometimes too when making CAS white cards!! Never thought to emboss though. I'll try that next time. Also, yup, in my head I'm in my early 30's. But my body reminds me that I'm closer to 90 :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card! I love the patchwork look of the pattern paper. Your coloring is wonderful as well. Good luck on the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge!
