You're a real work of art

I just love this gorgeous image from Mo.  I had her printed and was planning to have some artwork on her paper, but this weeks challenge is a "Thank You" for Mo's.  It just works out that Paulette at TLC has a wonderful new set that is perfect for this.  I made a card the other day using one of the sentiments from the set.  Being that it is artwork I added a die of some scissors with some buttons for the bright colors.

France pennant

Paulette just came out with a new set that has pennant flags.  I made a card using a colored flag for France.  The paper I used is from My Mind's Eye - Come Away with Me which has the Eiffel Tower, airplanes, suitcase, hot air balloon, bicycles, cameras and flowers.  On my large Label 4 I put the pennant, a die cut of the Eiffel Tower and a wooden camera chip from Prima.

Woodland Christmas

Being Monday, there is a new sketch for Merry Monday and I decided to get going and make a card right away since I didn't get to one last week.  I used my new die cuts from Taylored Expressions.  I made the background embossed as well as the snowhill in the front.  I also, made the white portion a 4.25 X 5.5 card so it will have my sentiment on the inside.  The blue cardstock is a 5 X 7 flat piece.

Earth without ART

Paulette at TLC has a new set of word art that should be released in the next day or 2.  It will be called "Art and Color" and has four wonderful sentiments.  Here is a sample of one of the sentiments.  You can check Candy's blog and I know she has another sample posted.  The rest of the design team will be posting something using this set soon.

Deer Happy Father's Day

My Father is an outdoor sportsman so when I saw these dies at Taylored Expression I just had to order them just to make a card for my Dad.  Now for the people that think a Hallmark card is expression it is nothing in comparison to a homemade card when you add up all the supplies, especially the die cuts.  I used digital paper from Sweet Shoppe to make the background papers to make it look like black etching and cork to give it texture.  The deer I was using felt; however, the horns would not come out without ripping so those are out of paper.  The sentiment is from TLC and was cut out with another Taylored Expressions die cut.

For our weather we have had only a little bit of sunshine.  This is a sentiment from TLC that I think is beautiful and I used the Tim Holtz embossed sun as the background and a pinking circle to look like a sun.

Ladybugs bring good luck

Sassy Cheryl has this wonderful digi image with a ladybug and Paulette at TLC has the perfect sentiment to go with it.  It hasn't been warm enough lately to have ladybugs around here.  Today is to be a high of only 57 and we are having some rain this am.  The Sassy Cheryl Challenge this week is stitching which I did around the outside of my card.  I used the colors from this weeks Colour Q which I thought were perfect for this image.  But hopefully it is the start to a good weekend!

Dare to dream

I love that sentiment from a new stamp set that I got from "My Favorite Things" which I embossed on a brown piece of cardstock.  I loved this sketch this week from My Favorite Things.  I used a die cut also which is one of my favorite embellishments.  The paper had gorgeous butterflies and one of my favorite color combos using browns, orange, yellow and mint green.  As you see the pictures below, I think you will see why this is a favorite combo. My son had his pictures taken at a "Garden" area and the colors were brilliant.
I had my SLR camera out to take pictures of my son, Trevor going to prom with his date Kenzie. It was a gorgeous day, and they looked wonderful!
