Back to School - Study

My daughter teaches 4th grade and she starts school on Friday.  I still have to make a card for her, hehe.  She was over for the weekend and was working on her school supplies.  She bought extra pencils for the kids who didn't have one and was marking them with duct tape.  Her pup was resting at her feet....it was adorable.
For her card, the image is from Paper Shelter, Back to School and the sentiments are from TLC, Create.

More hands, More candy!

I have a Halloween treat bag that I made using an Art Impression stamp.  I haven't placed any candy inside yet....since I don't want to purchase any to sit around the house, hehe. The design for the treat bag cover is very simple.  I just can't believe that it's almost Labor Day and the summer is coming to an end.
It took me a bit to get this posted since my daughter has been here with her pup, Gus.  Gus has terrorized my two Siamese cats who are not used to animal visitors.  They are finally out right now while my daughter is visiting her Dad.

Have a Magical Birthday

I have a friend who loves Harry Potter books and movies so I made this card for her upcoming birthday.  It is using an image from Mo Manning and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I was even able to get papers from Sweet Shoppe to match.
I actually have another project to post....but it will have to wait until later....I'm tired and need sleep.  My daughter is coming for the weekend with her pup, Gus.  The 4 pound Teddybear will terrorize my two Siamese cats.  Her boyfriend has a golf outing so I am glad that I will get to spend some time with her.  It has been cool for August with temps only getting to 70 the last couple of days, but at least we haven't had any rain.  I'm just glad that I get to spend some time with my daughter before she starts teaching again.  And, I am hoping to find a job and go back to work since I am starting to go a little stir crazy.  I did agree to help a friend babysit some toddlers next week so yikes....I'm used to working with adults, hehe.  She has prepped me since I have gone with her several times with her VERY active Grandsons to the zoo and for walks.  So later I will post my Halloween project.

I have been trying to go through some images that I have colored and finally put them together.  Here is one from Miss Rach, Winter Eel, her images are great to color and so reasonable to purchase.  It goes perfectly with the sentiment from TLC, Create.  Many of those sentiments can also be used for the fish that are also available at Miss Rach's site.
For this card, I also used a starfish from a Hero Art, color layering, Seahorse Bundle that I had.  Then the circle I used a Newton's Nook Stencil and some Distress Oxide ink.
