Keep calm and cuddle

Right now it is -1, but tomorrow we are to have it -20 again!!! As I told you, I am wanting to find that groundhog and hunt him down....I have a few issues with six more weeks of this.  I live in Wisconsin not Alaska.  I've already noticed our electric bill being more because of my husband being on oxygen and the gas bill is more as well.  At least we aren't homeless so things could always be worse.  For everyone out there in cold conditions - stay warm and I guess follow the words of the wonderful sentiment from TLC - Keep calm and cuddle.

A Walk Through Nature Blog Hop Card 3 of 3

For my final card I used the image as a background stamp that I colored, crumpled, and inked with Distress ink to give it a vintage look.  The sentiment is also a freebie from TLC.  Paulette has so many wonderful images and sentiments as well as the clubs on a regular basis.  Make sure to hop to all the other blogs to get all the images.

A Walk through Nature Blog Hop Card 2 of 3

I am getting tired of the snow and cold weather that we have been having here in Wisconsin so when Paulette gave me this gorgeous rose to work with I had to come up with something that was more springy.  I don't live too far from the official ground chuck so he better have said what I wanted to hear; otherwise, I might just be hunting him down.  I added two Cherry Lynn butterflies and the background paper is from the last club that Paulette had.  There is another club coming soon. I have two other cards I made using this image.

Sending you love

I made this card for my daughter, Amanda to give to her boyfriend, Zach for Valentines.  They just celebrated their one year anniversary.  The only funny thing is that Amanda doesn't wear jeans.  I colored this image a long time ago and just have it labeled as a digital freebie, but don't have the source listed.  Hopefully my daughter will like it - she didn't ask for a card.  Now, my son is a little more demanding.  He has a card that I have been putting off because it is rather intense.  I had to purchase two new images - he actually wants five images on the front of the card.  I think it will be a 8.5 X 11 card.

Daughter Valentine with Cupid

This is the card I made for my step-daughter, Danielle.  I added Sakura jelly glitter pen to the wings of the cupid and inked the outside of the pennant with the sentiment.  I found these papers in my stash, and I don't know where they came from.  This sentiment is from the wonderful collection that I keep using from TLC.

Dragon Valentine for my son

I made this card for my step-son using an image from Digital Delights along with a wonderful sentiment from TLC.  The purple patterned paper is also from TLC.  I outlined the cloud with a Sakura jelly glitter pen.  Remember in a couple of short hours it will be time for the TLC Blog hop.
