Miss Rach has quite a few fish on her ETSY site, but this one really appealed to me. It is the Day of the Dead Fish.  I colored her with Copics and then added some pearls above her eye.  I sprayed the paper with Glimmer Mist which gives it a wonderful shimmer.  The sentiment is from a birthday set at TLC which I thought worked for this card.  I added some sequins and put a pearl in the center of each of them.

I can't believe it is September 2nd already!  Today we have it hot and humid...probably because the poor kids are sitting in school.  I made my card with a NEW image from Beach Toons called Scarecrow Friend.  Miss Rach released a bunch of new images just yesterday for fall - which is my favorite season.  My sentiment is from a great set at TLC.  I have a bunch of these images colored so hopefully soon I will have more to show you.

You're the apple of my eye

Kris at Imagine That has a great set for this month's DOTM.  It is called Maggie's Apples and it comes with the image as well as some papers.  For my card, I made a pop up card.  My son wanted to take it the other day to send out to his girlfriend who happens to be a Navy Basic Training, but I wouldn't let take it since it had not been posted yet.  However, he did take quite a few other cards from my stash before leaving for college.  He didn't ask for any of the relative's addresses so I do believe the girlfriend is the only intended receiver.  I did have to explain that extra postage is required for embellishments.
