Tis the season to sparkle

Well, I really tried with this card since I have 25 small bling and 3 large bling, paper that shines, glitter jelly pen and twine with silver in it.  It was a busy weekend with the start of a new challenge at Imagine That Digistamp and a blog Hop at TLC, Create.  Then my daughter was home for a surgical procedure to have a cyst removed from her forehead, and she actually did well with it.  I had a concert to attend at the college where my husband used to teach and we had about 4 inches of snow today so it caused a mess with the roads.  I have been wanting to participate in the Catch the Bug Challenge and I have just had too much Chaos, hehe.  Here is my card for day one which is "All that Sparkles".  The image is from Bugaboo Xmas shoe which was in the November release, and the sentiment is from TLC.

Now let's get going....for my card, I made a z-fold card which is so easy to do.  I have the image below that I colored and a sentiment from TLC. I plan to give this card to my best friend that I just had lunch with on Friday so it will be perfect.  She also likes to do St. Nick presents so I also have some napkins for her to go with this. (She has a thing for fancy paper napkins and she even made me a Thanksgiving card out of one this year).

Joyful Tidings

Today starts a new challenge at Imagine That Digistamp and it is Ch. 11 Joys of the Season.  There is a picture for inspiration. (see below)  For my card, I the pre-colored image of  Tree with Presents and then I colored the image of Red Nose Reindeer, both of which are on special right now in the store.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I made this card with a light so when you push on the snowflake by the front paws, it will light up. I was originally going to have it be on the sentiment that is why I had the strip of red on the bottom, but thought that the snowflake was easier.  I just fell in love with these chibi lights.  They are much more impressive in person.  Now can't wait to see what you create for this challenge.

hello sweet babies

My boyfriend and I had lunch with my best friend and her husband yesterday.  I told my friend that I would make a card for her.  She has a niece that is expecting a set of twins a boy and a girl.  I know that would take a special card for her to find so that is why I agreed to make her one.  I used a digital image from Lili of the Valley and the sentiment is from TLC.  After we had lunch, she found out that she will be having a C-section today so it was perfect timing.  I also needed a break from Christmas cards.

I had colored these three Scribbles images so this layout from Try Stampin' on Tuesday was perfect for them.  I printed a digital piece of Christmas paper from Sweet Shoppe and then a sentiment from TLC.  This sentiment was just in the latest club.  I punched circles in the patterned paper and put the images behind the circles.
