Christ the Savior is Born

I haven't been lost....I've been working on a house project.  My Dad is helping me with my porch which was a screened porch.  I have a wooded lot and the critters have made lots of holes in the screen so I no longer feel safe in letting my cats enjoy the space.  He is now going to convert it into a 3 -season porch with windows and a decent door so I won't have to replace the screen every other year.  Then since my husband died about a year and a half now, I need to clean out the house of some items and re-organize.  I have my daughter with me this week to help and she is wonderful at organizing.  It has been a lot of work as well as emotional.  I needed to stay awake tonight to work on a card to destress.
I made a Christmas card using one of my Verve sets, and this is what I came up with.

Patterned Paper:  Echo Park
Cardstock:  Bazzil; Recollections
Stamp & Die:  Verve - Unto Us
Ink:  Memento - Rich Cocoa
Close to my Heart - English Ivy
Ribbon:  Michael's
Bling:  Me and My Big Ideas
Snowflake:  Hobby Lobby

Viva La Verve - August Sketch Wk 1
The Glory of Christmas - Ch. 65 Silver or Gold (silver snowflake)
CHNC - Ch. 241 Something that begins with S (snowflake)
CHNC Extra - August
CRAFT - Ch. 324 Christmas - Animals
Word Art Wednesday - Ch. 196 Anything Goes

Such a beautiful Christmas card. Nice sparkle! I'm so happy you joined our Challenge last week and would like to invite you to join us again with our Challenge this week at Word Art Wednesday. Just want to share God's Word to you coming from 1 Peter 1:24-25 which says, "For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you."

Have a blessed day!
