Thought you could use a pig me up!

I don't know about you, but I'm glad this week is about over!  I've had car troubles, house repair problems that they found my concern was bigger than we planned, I didn't get get the job that i was waiting to hear on, my Dad and I got into an argument about my critters and he accidentally (so I think) let all three of them outside; however, it could always be worse.  The wonderful man that I seeing was golfing with three other guys the other weekend and it was raining in the am and they were on a coarse that was hilly.  On the 18th hole, he was in a cart with one other guy, Mark who was driving and there was a sign that said "Steep Hill".  He realized that there cart was going too fast and he hit the brakes which were wet, they locked, the cart turned/flipped over sideways on Mark's side and they rolled the cart.  Mark broke his neck in 3 places and is paralyzed from the waist down.  My  boyfriend is fine except for feeling horrible about his friend.  They were only drinking gatorade and were not goofing around it was a total freak accident and we just pray that he may regain some feeling or ability to walk again.
With that being said, my last card for today is using a wonderful image from Miss Rach which is available on her ETSY site for $1.  Miss Rach is having a Challenge on her blog with the theme being Apple Harvest. For this you are able to win an image from the ETSY shop, see HERE for rules of the challenge.  It is simple and fun.  She has several FREEBIES available today on her site that would qualify for the challenge a horse and a goat both with apples.

Oh, my goodness, I was grinning ear to ear over your card and then I read your post. Sheesh, when it rains it pours. I sure hope next week is better, and I really hope Mark regains some mobility. I'm so sorry about that. Whoever you send this to (Mark, perhaps?) is going to get a lot of enjoyment from it. Thanks for sharing in our QKR Stampede Midnite Snack Challenge.

Hi again Lisa Lynn! My goodness I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a very good week, and I know that sometimes it just feels like when it rains it pours. It's always good to escape the madness through your creative side and this card using another little cutie certainly turned out great. Thanks so much again for joining my challenge this week, and I'm sure next week will be much better for you. Hang in there :)

Wow, your card is a lot more fun than your news, that's for sure! Really cute card, love the hilarious image and sentiment. So sorry to hear about your boyfriend's friend, but glad that you beau is OK. Golf carts can be so dangerous!
