Pumpkin Thanks

I have to admit that one of my favorite things is to blend Distress Oxide Inks and make my own background paper.  I actually found my heat gun that my Dad had packed away for me when he was cleaning my basement and it was like Christmas opening a present (since I had replaced it) so now I have one upstairs in my craft area and one downstairs.  So I do my ink blending upstairs and my embossing downstairs so it works out well.  For this card, I just had FUN!!!

I just love this image from Gerda Steiner called Cold Hedgehog Digital Stamp which is this months freebie image.  I used a sentiment from TLC as well as the patterned paper.  I embossed a leaf background which is perfect for the fall.
