You Slay Me

Since Kraftin' Kimmie has a challenge to use stripes, I thought this was the perfect stamp to use since Dexter has stripes on his chest and stomach.

I posted my second card later. I thought I was having a migraine that was lasting for over a week; however, after doing sinus rinses 2-3 times a day, I began to wonder if I had an infection.  I went to the doctor the other day and it was confirmed that I have a sinus infection.  I think that was was the inspiration for this card since I used all the colors that I have seen come out of my sinus in the past few days - gross I know, but true.  It is getting better, and the headache has improved.

Boys are getting so big

On the 2nd my nephew turned one.  I can't believe how fast the year has past.  My Mother has two grandsons with April birthdays and my son will be 15 on the the 22nd.  My nephew had a pool party on Saturday.  I'm just glad that when I have a sleepless night it is because I am choosing to stay up and work on cards and that we are past some of those issues (not that we don't have others with teens).

TESC135 Birthday wishes

Taylor's Expressions has not had a sketch challenge since November since it was exciting to see that they had another one.  Now what they do is have you load your card on to Splitcoast stampers site which is something I am still not as comfortable doing.  I did it, but I'll find out later if it was done properly.
