Young love

My niece is having a wedding shower this weekend, and I was thinking back to when I made a gift registry and thought I knew everything.  Which means that now that I am older I think many things are impractical.  Her mother is a Martha Stewart type who has formal dinner parties so I'm not surprised that she has the items on her list.  I just think that her Mother will continue to have the formal holiday events so there will not be the need for her to do so at this time.   Oh well, personally I don't know where I would put a blender, mixer, dual coffee maker, fondue set, etc and all the items that are on the list without adding on to the kitchen.  We don't have enough outlets for all the appliances she requested.  So I decided to make a funny shower card.  The wedding card I plan to be more traditional.

Patterned Paper:  Cosmo Cricket-Pixie-Licious, Stamp Kissing
Cardstock:  Core-dinations, Recollections
Stamp:  American Art Stamp -Follow Wedding
   Studio 490
Close to My Heart - Rustic Flowers
Ink: Memento, black tuxedo
     Tim Holtz -Broken China
Close to My Heart - Purple Pansy
Ribbon: Hobby Lobby
Square Punch:  Creative Memories
Flower:  Prima
Button:  Cosmo Cricket

I did the stamp kissing technique as described on the JUGS website.
Using my stamps below.

Lisa Lynn - great job on all those cards. Your shower card for you niece is hilarious, hopefully her Martha Stewart-ish mom will see the humor.

Thanks for joining us at Tiddly Inks this week. Your ribbon frame is adorable and the sentiment couldn't have been better for this image.
