Age is IRR-Elephant

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's a Recipe (2 Patterned Papers, 2 ribbons and 2 buttons). For my card, I used the image Critter balloons - elephant along with a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I did a layer of Crakle Accent and then Glossy Accent on the balloon. Check out to see what all the other DT members made.
I was talking to my Mom (who is retired) and asked her if she had sent a birthday card to her sister and she said "No, I've been too busy to go buy one."  She hates to ask me to make cards for her because she says I'm too busy with working and everything. However, since I make cards it irritates me that she purchases cards and I have to make my DT cards anyway.  So I offered to make her some as time permits to increase her stash of birthday and sympathy cards which seems to be her need.

Patterned Paper:  Core-dinations
Stamp:  Bugaboo - Critter balloons - elephant
Sentiment:  TLC, Create - Age is Irr-elephant
Glossy Accent & Crakle Accent
Ribbon:  Really reasonable ribbon
Buttons: Stash
Jute:  May Arts
Border Punch:  Fiskars
Ink:  Distress - Broken China
Stencil - My Favorite Things

Love your card, especially the sentiment!
So sweet of you to make cards for your mother (I do the same for mine....lol).
As you said on my blog, I have tons of dies. Such a pity we live so far from each other, otherwise you could borrow them!!
Have a great weekend.

Lovely design and the cutest image...the background sky is fabulous and I love the sentiment.
I used to make all the cards my Mum needed, she would give me a list, bless her. She used to be a keen card maker herself before she was immobile and didn't like giving shop bought cards. I miss doing it now...
