Wishing you a Cozy Little Christmas

 I found an image that I had colored some time ago from TLC, Create and I have been having a desire to make vintage/shabby chic cards lately. I got a quote on Friday to have some squirrels removed from my attic and I'm not happy about the cost, but I can't allow them to stay and cause more damage. So I am not feeling any love for squirrels, mice or woodpeckers unless they are on cards so this week they are costing me a bundle.

Sure my life isn't perfect, but my hair is....Thank You!

Here is a card that I made for my hair dresser since I have an appointment coming up.  The image and sentiment are both from TLC, Create.  I distressed my card edges and the sentiment I also distressed with ink.  I have been seeing Amy for over 20 years and I have moved so now I even drive over 30 minutes for my appointments with her.  She has been a good friend over these years as well.  I would give her clothes that my son outgrew for her two boys and then when I needed help getting my husband's hair cut and he couldn't leave the house she came and cut it when he was bed bound.  She really does provide therapy since she has known me for all these years.  I put a Tim Holtz clock on it because she tells me 15 minutes earlier for my time just so that I write it on my calendar so I get there on time, hehe.

Time for a Birthday Sugar High

On Monday it was my birthday.  I am so blessed that I have wonderful family and friends. I worked the day, and my co-workers were great and decorated my office with notes and post-it notes, balloons, cards and flowers. My boyfriend and I had a late dinner at Flemings and had some Carrot Cake for dessert. He spoiled me with a HUGE bouquet of flowers that Casio, my cat, wants to eat. Just miss my kids.
