Winter Wishes and Thank You for TMS 539

Today at Tuesday Morning Sketches it is another revisited sketch and this is one that I chose.  I made two samples with this layout. For the first one I punches three Fiskar snowflakes on glitter cardstock and put a sentiment on the middle and sequins on the other two. Then put these snowflakes on a piece of light blue vellum.
For my second card, I used images from Bugaboo Rose Trio. I colored them with Copics and mounted it on a piece of Glossy navy paper and added some light blue sequins.

You really measure up

I had this card ready, but just didn't get it posted last week for the Sketch Saturday Challenge. The week was crazy with my BFF's daughter losing her brand new FIL.  My office mate who ruptured her achilles tendon while I had my sinus surgery has been non-weight bearing and then fell and broke a rib.  So she was off due to having pain so I was working extra so it's just been crazy. Later today I will be driving to see my parents and kids.  I plan to take this card that I made for my daughter to use since she is a teacher and wanted some special thank you cards.  It is from Darcie's Stick Together. I have been trying to get quite a few cards done this month.

Moo-chas Gracias

I have one of the new stamp sets from MFTs called Animal Farm and I made a CAS card.  I put Distress Oxide Black Soot ink on the background that looks like a cow spot on the fur.  Then I dry embossed a wood grain piece of kraft paper to put the image on.  I used the "Moo-chas Gracias"  sentiment since I will give this card to my daughter so she will use it as a thank you note since she is a teacher and needs lots of thank yous.  Being in WI the dairy state I thought this was just too cute.

TY from the bottom of my heart

My daughter is done with her student teaching and is ready to move on to her own teaching.  She was a hit with the students and was sooooo lucky.  In her classroom they collected money and bought her books and items for her fall 3rd grade classroom and she was in tears.  They also gave her a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and made her cards and stickers for her books.  I gave her all the thank you cards that I had, but this is another one that I made for her.  The vintage picture and sentiment are from TLC.

Teacher thank you

This past semester my daughter did student teaching for a 2nd grade class which she really enjoyed.  She came home last weekend with cards from the students and had to show them all to me, and she even had a box of chocolates from one and some homemade camels from another.  The teacher gave her a bag of new books which she was so excited about as well.  Next semester she will be in a 5th grade class and she said, "They are so big."  We will see if she finds them as cute in a few weeks, hehe.  This is a card that I made for her to give as a thank you.  The image and sentiment are from TLC.
