True Dude with Fishin' Curtis & Glitter Amanda Panda CPS 199

I hate to say it, but with my husband having surgery I didn't read fully the description of Kraftin' Kimmies Challenge 59 this last time.  I knew that a dude was to be colored and I was excited because I had just ordered Curtis so I waited.  I get irritated when people don't follow the challenge rules and now I'm guilty - sorry to say.  Then when I was looking at the samples of the others and reading their blogs I was wondering why their spouses were coloring the images so I figured I better read the rules better.  Here it is that your dude (husband, son, boyfriend, etc) is suppose to color your dude image - duh.  So I quickly withdrew my card yesterday.  My son has colored with Copics with me and I put this in a blog back on August 25th when my husband took a picture of us.  I talked to my son, and he said, "Let's do this!"  So today I picked him up from school....and this is what he did with Curtis.  He is 14 years old and so independent.  I have my markers in a bin and when he asked for the skin ones I gave him E000 and E00 and he said, "I don't want a pale guy like yours, mine has been fishing all summer so he is tan so he needs more color and no pink cheeks."  So I gave him E11 so his Curtis could have a summer glow.

While he worked on that, I put the finishing touches on my card for Karen's Doodles Challenge which is Glitter.  I used the digital image Amanda Panda.  My daughter's name is Amanda and while she was growing up we called her that a lot which is why I got the image to begin with.  Since it has a big heart, I thought it would be a perfect one to add glitter to.  Sketch for CPS #199 Part 1 for this week.  I sprayed the flowers with glimmer mist to give them a shine.  The bow has coloring from the Copic Spica marker, and the heart has regular glitter.  Then the Core-dinations paper has the glitter in it also which I love.
