Waiting

My husband had a MRI of his back to determine how the cancer is responding to the treatment, and now we are waiting to hear from the doctor.  I worked yesterday and then slept for two hours and took him for the scan.  He has had so many that it works best to take medication so he is relaxed and doesn't have pain, but then he really shouldn't be driving himself.  Unfortunately, he slept the rest of the day because of the medication.  We haven't heard back from the doctor so I am hoping that it is a good thing.  He had the scan because he was having more pain and we were concerned that the cancer had progressed.  It may be that he was having more pain because we took that short weekend trip and he was more active.  Maybe tomorrow we will hear something.  I work again tonight, and I just couldn't sleep during the day because I was hoping that I would be awake if the doctor called.  So I was able to make another card for my daughter and two more Valentines.  One of the Valentines is non-traditional since it is brown and blue.
