Vintage Lantern

Next week will be my Dad's birthday and he collects vintage lanterns.  Tim Holtz has a die cut just for that so I couldn't pass that up.  I cut it out and then embossed it in Tim Holtz embossing powder.  I put Crystal Accent on the light portion.  The leaf patterned paper is from TLC.  It is funny, but my Dad appreciates the cards I make and is always interested in my techniques.

Patterned Paper:  TLC -Acorns Announcing Thanksgiving Papers 2, Bearly Mine
Cardstock:  Bazzil
DieCut:  Tim Holtz
Spellbinder:  Small Circle
Corner Rounder:  Creative Memories
Ribbon:  Michael's
Embossing Powder:  Tim Holtz - Walnut Stain
Crystal Accent

Challenges
Mojo - Ch. 361
Melonheadz - 2 or more dies
Sweet stamps - Ch. 185 Embossing

Oh Lisa I love your Lantern card, your Dad will love it as well. This image is totally perfect for him especially because he collects Lantern's. Love your colours and that leaf design paper. Here's wishing him a Happy Birthday. It's Father's Day here and in Australia on Sunday. We' re going to spend the day with our youngest son Ryan as Liam is still away until the middle of the month and comes home for a 2 week break and is gone again until the end of October, home for a week and then goes back until December. He's one very lucky boys having this amazing experience I do miss him. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs
