The cards that I just made are more masculine.  My son's birthday is coming up later this month, but I wasn't feeling it for either of these cards.  I think they are adorable, but since my son will be 15 I think he will think they are too childish.

What a wonderful surprise

Awhile back I won a challenge with Bearly Mine to receive a prize from Wild Orchid Craft's which is located in England.  It has been almost a month, and today it finally arrived.  I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that they squeezed quite a few flowers in the box.  I sent them a thank you to let them know how excited and pleased I was with this gift, and I had to stay up to make a card using the flowers.

You Slay Me

Since Kraftin' Kimmie has a challenge to use stripes, I thought this was the perfect stamp to use since Dexter has stripes on his chest and stomach.

I posted my second card later. I thought I was having a migraine that was lasting for over a week; however, after doing sinus rinses 2-3 times a day, I began to wonder if I had an infection.  I went to the doctor the other day and it was confirmed that I have a sinus infection.  I think that was was the inspiration for this card since I used all the colors that I have seen come out of my sinus in the past few days - gross I know, but true.  It is getting better, and the headache has improved.
